Description
Sight words are vital for children learning to read. These are words that appear so frequently, but many of them do follow the rules of phonics. This means if a child can memorize these high-frequency words and rather, use their energy to decode other words, they will be ahead of their reading. Additionally, once they get a hang of these sight words, they develop confidence and almost feel that they can read.

There are many strategies that parents and teachers use, and this packet provides an additional activity to support your strategies. Each word has a couple of simple activities that include word identification, tracing, and writing. It also has gives a couple of sentences that the child can complete using the sight word in focus.
