How to make a beautiful paper tulip craft with your kids

Is it spring season yet? Are the tulips beginning to sprout? Soon there will be lots of colors from flowers all around. In this art or craft project, we shall use a piece of paper and corrugated card to make a beautiful tulip flower. Are you ready?

What we need
1. A piece of corrugated card (about 3inch square)
2. One popsicle stick
3. A piece of card
4. Your regular cutting, coloring, and gluing tools.

Please watch the video first!

STEPS:

1. Paint the popsicle stick green. This item will be the stem of the flower.
2. Paint the corrugated card with your favorite color. This item will be used for the flower petals.
3. Paint the card green, using a variety of it. We will use this for the long leaves of the tulip. Please wait for all of them to dry.
4. Cut out rectangular shapes from the green-painted card. Cut the edges and shape them into a long leaf. Make two of them.
5. Cut a circular shape from the purple corrugated card and trim the top. Your part of the tulip is ready to glue together.
Enjoy your tulip, and share your work with us.
