How to make a beautiful farm tractor from cardboard.

Let’s make a farm tractor! This craft uses just a piece of cardboard ad your regular craft tools and materials. Allow for about two hours to create this piece. Adult supervision is required. Let’s get started.

Steps.
- Cut out a rectangular card about 3×6 inches wide.
- Cut out four circles: 3.5inch, 2.5inch (2x), and 1.5inch in diameter. This does not need to be exact. Please trim circles to fit.
- Cut out a piece of L-shaped cardboard for the exhaust pipe
- Cut out five pieces of toothpicks or skewers, each about 1inch long. We will use these for the strips on the engine and also for the steering wheel.
- Make tiny groves on the biggest circle to add a character to the large back tire.
- Time to paint them. Children love to paint so allow for their creativity and let them express themselves freely. Before you paint, arrange the pieces to get a sense of what will be where and what to paint what!

Put them together.
- Trim off a strip off the rectangular card, about halfway to fix the steering wheel.
- Glue the exhaust and the toothpick strips.
- Fix the tires.
