Print the activity sheets below and get the children to talk about what these three terms mean: RECYCLE, REUSE, and REDUCE. Ensure that children understand that every small action by each child can make a huge impact on the planet in a good way.

SET 3: TAKING ACTION!
Celebrate the day by taking action on many simple steps. One act each day for 7 days prior to, or after earth day. Children can also practice more than one action on Earth Day. Discuss simple changes they can make in their homes to mark Earth Day. Encourage children to continue looking for simple ways to make a difference for the planet earth!
