How to make a beautiful paper chick craft
Baby chickens or chicks are so much fun. They are pretty too. Their yellow and orange colors are just perfect for any art activity. Parent supervision is required. Let’s get started.
What we need:
We need a yellow and orange piece of card stock. We also need a googly eye and some orange chenille stem. Finally, make sure you have your regular crafting tools!
- Cut two equal circles from the yellow card stock. In this project, the circle is about 3 inches in diameter. You will also need a small half-circle to make the wings.
- Cut out a small triangle for the beak (or bill). Be creative on how you want the beak to be: open or closed?
- Now cut two small chenille stems for the legs.
- Glue the two yellow circles together, overlapping a third way over each other. Now fix the beak and the googly eye. Attach the wings too.
- Be creative with the legs: is the chick walking or running? Attach them. Hope you enjoyed your project.
