Make a cute paper flamingo
Flamingos are my favorite birds. Their colors and long legs are incredibly beautiful. Today’s paper flamingo craft is an easy one that you can do at home. It makes a great activity for Father’s Day too. Adult supervision is required. Are you ready?
Materials to make one paper craft flamingo.
1. Get an orange or pink letter-size paper/card. You can also paint a piece of letter-size card.
2. One googly eye. You could also just cut out a piece of white paper and color in a black pupil.
3. Get 5 popsicle sticks. I used a slightly wider stick for the bill (beak)
4. Your regular cutting, painting, and gluing materials.
Steps to make one paper craft flamingo.
- Divide the orange/pink card into two. Cut out the body of the flamingo from one half and a neck from the other half. The neck can be the shape of an ‘S’
- Paint the 5 popsicle sticks black. Flamingos have long legs so use 2 sticks for each leg and divide the last one into two, to make the feet.
- Paint the bill grey and black.
- Glue all the bits together. Enjoy your craft!
