How to make a beautiful paper ladybug craft
Ladybugs are fun, only that they are too small and hard to keep as a pet! Their colors make them such a great inspiration for animal crafting. Parent supervision is required. Let’s get started.
All we need is a red and black piece of card stock, a black chenille stem, and some googly eyes. These googly eyes come in a variety of sizes so check to ensure that the size matches the size of your craft.
- Cut two circles from each colored card stock. Also, cut about 8 tiny circles that you will use as the dots on the back of the ladybug. You can also just use a black marker to color dots on the back.
- Cut two short pieces of the chenille stem to be used as the antenna of the ladybug.
- Next, cut the red circle into 2 equal halves.
- Glue the half circles to the black circle, making sure that you leave enough room for the eyes of the ladybug.
- Fix the black dots on the back of the ladybug. Next is to use a hot glue gun to fix the antennas and that would be it!
