How to make a simple, beautiful pumpkin from paper
There is more to this activity than just making a pumpkin. We need 5 ovals, one rectangle, and some colors (numbers, colors, and shapes). Most importantly, make a conversation as you do this activity. It is simple and fun Let’s get started.
Steps
- One card print out of the shapes (CLICK HERE). You can also just draw 3 ovals and a rectangle. You can let the child draw that too.
- Cut out five ovals and the rectangle
- Paint them your favorite pumpkin colors.
- Using a glue stick, stick the ovals almost halfway on top of each other. The tighter they are, the smaller the final artwork will be.
- Adult supervision is required with cutting.
